| May/June | Spring roundups. Cows and calves go to summer pastures. |
| July | Checking on cows and calves. Sorting for injuries and illness. Removing extra cattle. |
| Mid September | Fall roundups Cellers Pasture: Gather 1000 head out of 4000 acres. Kunath Patent: Gather in the forest service, start at dawn, listen for fall elk bugling. |
| October 1-17 | Roundups almost daily. Final corral and chute day around the 17th. Cattle are vaccinated and given pregnancy tests. |
